Garanti BBVA International (GBI) is a customer-centric transaction banking provider offering value-added financial solutions to its customers and counterparties worldwide in the areas of trade and commodity finance, private banking, treasury, and structured finance, maintaining multi-product relationships with local and global financial institutions around the world. GBI also provides targeted retail banking services in the Netherlands and Germany. GBI is a wholly owned subsidiary Garanti Bank A.Ş. of Turkey, which is owned by BBVA of Spain.
Since 2007, Caunos has been implementing and actively maintaining solutions for the bank’s Credit and Risk Management department, supporting the client in credit rating management, financial statements and credit applications.
In addition to software development and maintenance services, Caunos provides GBI 3rd line support for systems developed by Caunos.

Steel Trading
The Steelinvest BVBA is a steel trading organisation which serves the needs of steel consumers and represents the interests of a number of large steel producers. Originally targeting European steel consumers, the group has expanded and is sourcing internationally, especially in the markets of the Caribbean and Central America, the Indian subcontinent, China and Indonesia for sales into the European and other markets, with a strong emphasis on procurement agreements and partnerships.
Caunos has developed Steelinvest BVBA's trading back-office as well as supply-chain and risk management support systems in a single suite of applications.
Caunos provides hosting, application maintenance, and full operational support to Steelinvest BVBA (since 2005).

Postal industry
International Post Corporation (IPC) is the leading service provider of the global postal industry that provides leadership by driving service quality, interoperability and business-critical intelligence to support posts in defending existing business and expanding into new growth areas.
IPC is a cooperative association of 25 member postal operators in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America. IPC’s solutions and services are used by over 190 posts worldwide. Caunos is one of IPC’s preferred near-shore development suppliers and has fully or partially developed software systems for IPC to predict near-future capacity needs at mail processing centres worldwide, produce reports and insights on transactional data for worldwide post movement, facilitate worldwide tracking and management of postal receptacles, track and manage IPC’s Sprinter van network, and monitor and manage mail registration devices at airports.
Youvia
Online marketing and business directories
Youvia is a Dutch directory company, which provides online marketing services to SMEs in the Netherlands. With more than 1,000,000 business and 4,500,000 residential listings, Youvia is the leading business/residential directory provider in the Netherlands.
Caunos has implemented data and application integration solutions for Youvia, which have been in use since 2008. The software products developed by Caunos include custom data management and ETL applications, internal websites and web services for management of business and reference information, interfaces to 3rd parties for content syndication to and from Youvia systems, etc.
Caunos implemented enhancements and new software components as needed and provided application maintenance as well as 2nd and 3rd line support to Youvia for all Caunos-developed software products.
Tolkennet
Translation facilities
Tolkennet is a Dutch company providing translation services for documents and simultaneous interpreters for driving license exams, notaries, etc. in more than 20 languages.
Caunos implemented Tolkennet’s interpreter registration and assignment system, which offers connected translators/interpreters incoming requests for translation, and assigns the request to the translator/interpreter if accepted. The system also caters for the necessary documentation associated with the assignments through a custom workflow and document management module.
Caunos provides Tolkennet cloud-hosting and operational support services for the system.

Translation facilities
MasterTolken is a Dutch start-up providing translation services for documents and simultaneous interpreters for notaries and other organisations in a large number of languages.
Caunos developed MasterTolken’s full suite of services and complete back-office solution in support of the company’s business.
DataDigest
Infrastructure
DataDigest specialises in management of large IT infrastructures in the Dutch government sector. Caunos has been their primary software partner in providing custom PTZ control and video routing software for multiple motorway tunnels in The Netherlands.
Caunos also took part in proof-of-concept projects for DataDigest customers such as VolkerRailProRail, RWS, Vialis/Gemeente Amsterdam, including implementation of an Android Bodycam App with a media server for assisting railroad field personnel, detection of bicycles in the blind-spot at crowded junctions to aid truck drivers, etc.

Consultancy
Capgemini is one of the world's foremost providers of consulting, technology, outsourcing services and local professional services. Present in over 40 countries with almost 180,000 people, the Capgemini Group helps its clients transform in order to improve their performance and competitive positioning.
Caunos implemented an application integration hub for a CapGemini client in 2012 as a subcontractor to Capgemini, connecting the client’s new country websites implemented by Capgemini to their back-offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, China, India, Australia and New Zealand. Caunos has been successfully providing the cloud-hosted integration service in an SAAS scheme to Capgemini, with 24x7 operational support for the APAC region.
I-AM
Design
I-AM is a multi-discipline design agency and brand experience consultancy company, with services ranging from architecture to branding and website visual design.
Caunos implemented I-AM’s intranet applications for their Istanbul office, featuring team and project management and collaboration functionality complemented with notifications and alerts, as well as document management, review and annotation capabilities. The implementation boosts a service-oriented architecture and is hosted on Amazon AWS.
Garanti BBVA
Banking
Established in 1946, Garanti Bank is the second largest private bank of Turkey. Garanti has been adding value to Turkish economy with the synergy created by the main shareholder BBVA since 2010. The bank has been operating under the brand name Garanti BBVA since June 2019.
Its competent and dynamic human resources, uninterrupted investments in technology, innovative products and services offered with strict adherence to quality and customer satisfaction carry Garanti BBVA to a leading position in the Turkish banking sector.
Caunos implemented the front-end of a web/mobile finance portal for the bank, which provides the subscribers with global and national news about currencies, stocks, options, funds, commodities and other investment and economy related elements, also allowing the subscribers to create a sample portfolio.
Caunos also implemented the front-end of a multi-bank system for clearing and settlement services for transactions performed over the Bonus-featured Point of Sale (POS) machines via credit and debit cards issued under the same trademark.
Herold Business Data GmbH
Online marketing and business directories
Herold Business Data (Herold) is one of the largest business directory providers in Austria. Herold provides its customers with online marketing and advertising services.
Caunos implemented data integration mechanisms for Herold’s ROI dashboard tool, providing the application with business listing, contract and analytics data. Caunos implemented the data integration components, and produced data sets monthly for the Herold ROI dashboard.
Berghauser Pont Publishing
Legal Publishing
Berghauser Pont Publishing (BPP) provides legal professionals training and correct and current legal information. BPP publish this information online and on paper in newsletters, as online services and in book form. BPP also create custom publications, such as custom law bundles with the latest legislation on demand.
Caunos implemented online services for jurisdiction and laws, and a law bundle order and production system. The implementation features subscription and order management, document authoring, integration with government court-verdict services, crawling of public legal documents and laws, integration with printing facilities, data conversion and PDF production, etc.
From 2005 until 2014, Caunos provided application development, maintenance and full operational services to BPP.
AKBANK
Banking & financial services
Akbank is one of Turkey's largest and most successful banks, offering personal and corporate banking services, including wealth management and expatriate banking in multiple currencies.
Akbank serves over 19 million customers through their extensive service network and technological infrastructure, with their Head Office in Istanbul, Data and Life Center, and 19 Regional Directorates, 711 branches and over 12 thousand employees in Turkey.
Caunos co-implemented an intranet system for Akbank with several applications such as: e-learning, volunteering and gratification where employees can track, subscribe to, volunteer for training and courses and earn rewards for their participation.
European Directories Group
Online Marketing and business directories
European Directories was one of the leading business and residential directory operators in Europe, with companies in The Netherlands, Austria, Finland, Czech republic and Slowakia, Poland, Sweden and Gibraltar. The group produced online and printed directory products, with advanced content and search capabilities for online products.
Caunos implemented various products for European Directories, and became the primary supplier for all data and application integration components within the group, integrating the different back-office products in each country to the centrally operated search websites, implementing data management syndication components/systems for the group. Caunos provided 2nd and 3rd level operational support as well as application maintenance. Systems implemented by Caunos processed in excess of 10 million business and residential listing transactions daily.
In 2013 European Directories sold most of the group’s companies, stopping the centralized online directory operations.
Rijkswaterstaat
Government, Infrastructure
Rijkswaterstaat (RWS) is the government organization responsible for the design, construction, management and maintenance of the main infrastructure facilities in the Netherlands. This includes the main road network, the main waterway network and water systems.
Caunos implemented a UDDI web service registry for RWS and also co-implemented a web service infrastructure with sample web services for managing measurements of actual depth of Dutch waterways and canals together with a group of other RWS suppliers. After completion of the project, Caunos provided application maintenance services to RWS until 2006.
VNU World Directories
Business directories
VNU World Directories was a leading business directory group with operations in Ireland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Japan and South Africa. The group later changed its name to Truvo, sold most of the companies and is now operating in Belgium.

Letter generation system: enabled World Directories to generate letters for customer correspondence triggered by customer service operators or events in the fulfillment process.
